iGuiders™ is an innovative, web-based tool that will ultimately change the way many searches are conducted on the Internet. Unlike traditional search engines that flood users with information (much of which is irrelevant), iGuiders augments the search process by helping users determine their specific search needs, and provides information on how to apply the information they find. Users enter a guided interview process loaded with knowledge from subject matter experts to help them identify areas of need, and then delivers relevant, focused search results and local resources. By providing the right information and resources, iGuiders will enable users to save time, solve problems and make smarter decisions.
Initially, iGuiders will be designed to help local entreprenuers and small business owners find the task-related information and resources they need on a range of important business Issues. For example, one of our first modules focuses on the process of how to generate free publicity.
