A history of iGuiders
iGuiders, Inc. was born out of Jodi Marchewitz’s desire to vastly improve the internet search experience. As a marketing expert in Internet research with corporate consulting experience, Jodi has a knack for finding the right keywords that unlock the path to relevant results. For nearly two decades, she helped her clients unlock their paths to success through an informal question and answer process that charted their future direction.
In September 2007, it occurred to Jodi that if she could replicate her client process by combining logic with an easy-to-use interface, she could empower people to quickly find the information, products and resources they needed on the Internet. Jodi knew there were a lot of information sites on the Internet, but none that provide the ‘thinking’ help and expertise that people need to make decisions.
With a background in programmable logic controllers and user interfaces and grant funding, Jodi started iGuiders. The company’s patent-pending decision technology called Guiders™, automates and personalizes the search and decision process and helps Internet users quickly identify and find what they want. Guiders complete the search process by picking-up where search engines leave off: taking generalized results and making them personalized and specific.
